Product Description

The miniature optical encoder defined by Zkseasy refer to four products: 17-bit single-turn absolute value optical encoder, 17-bit multi-turn absolute value optical encoder, 23-bit multi-turn optical encoder, and incremental 2048 line optical encoder.

Miniature optical encoder have a compact size and structure, making them easy to install in miniature servo motors and seamlessly integrate with various mechanical devices. Their fast response characteristics enable rapid detection of changes in motion state and output corresponding signals, which are particularly important for applications requiring real-time monitoring and control. By utilizing advanced optical principles, they cleverly convert rotational or linear mechanical movements into clear electrical signals, widely used in multiple fields.

In terms of accuracy, the 23-bit multi-turn optical encoder outperforms the 17-bit single/multi-turn encoders, meeting the stringent requirements of industries that demand high precision. This is not only due to its high-precision design but also its non-contact measurement method, effectively avoiding mechanical wear and tear, thereby enhancing the stability and reliability of the equipment.

High resolution is another highlight. The 17-bit single/multi-turn encoder has a resolution of up to 217, generating 131072 pulses per revolution for extremely precise angular measurements; while the 23-bit multi-turn encoder boasts a resolution of up to 223 offering advantages such as high output accuracy, wide measuring range, and strong anti-interference capabilities. It also features various interface types and output signal forms, catering to different application scenarios and providing highly accurate displacement measurements to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Moreover, all three encoders are absolute value encoders capable of recording absolute positions. In particular, the 17-bit multi-turn absolute value optical encoder has a power-loss memory function.

The 17-bit single-turn absolute value optical encoder is suitable for Zkseasy's 15mm and 25mm flange servo motors. It is the preferred encoder when users require high precision and resolution alongside miniature servo motors. The incremental 2048 line optical encoder is applicable to the 25mm hollow shaft servo motor.

The 17-bit multi-turn optical encoder and the 23-bit multi-turn optical encoder are suitable for various models of servo motors with flange diameters of 40mm, 60mm, and 80mm.

Miniature optical encoder can be used to measure the angle of robot joints for precise motion control; they can be used to measure the position and angle of workpieces for high-precision machining; they can also be used to measure the attitude and position of aircraft for accurate navigation and control.

In summary, when selecting an optical encoder, factors such as measurement accuracy, rotation speed, environmental conditions, and interface type should also be considered to choose the appropriate encoder model and resolution.
