Product Description

Definition of multiturn encoder absolute by Zkseasy includes three products: 17-bit multi-turn absolute value magnetic encoder, 17-bit multi-turn absolute value optical encoder, and 23-bit multi-turn absolute value optical encoder. Users can choose the corresponding servo motor according to their needs.

multiturn encoder absolute, as a class of precision mechanical internal devices, can obtain the position output by the encoder in real time. Compared with single-turn absolute encoders, they have significant advantages in their multi-turn measurement capabilities. At the same time, their memory of absolute positions eliminates the cumbersome process of finding reference points, allowing direct reading of the current position upon power-on, preventing safety accidents and motor damage. That is, they maintain the memory of the current position even when power is cut off.

Features of multi-turn absolute value encoders include:

1. High resolution: Multi-turn encoders can measure the rotational position over multiple revolutions, offering high resolution.

2. Large measuring range: Compared to single-turn encoders, multi-turn encoders have a larger measuring range, suitable for applications requiring large angular rotations.

3. Precise position feedback: Multi-turn encoders provide precise position feedback information, ideal for applications with strict requirements on rotational angles, such as precise positioning and motion control.

4. Multiple output signals: Multi-turn encoders support various output signal types, including parallel, serial, and bus outputs, facilitating connection and communication with different control systems.

Zkseasy's 17-bit multi-turn absolute value magnetic encoder is compatible with servo motors with flange diameters ranging from 25mm to 80mm. The 17-bit multi-turn absolute value optical encoder and 23-bit multi-turn absolute value optical encoder are suitable for servo motors with flange sizes of 40mm, 60mm, and 80mm. When selecting servo motors, users should consider the required installation dimensions and accuracy, choosing the appropriate flange size and matching encoder accordingly.

Zkseasy's 23-bit multi-turn encoder only comes in an absolute value optical version. With a resolution of up to 223, it provides more accurate position information, giving it an advantage in scenarios requiring extremely high precision position control.

The 17-bit multi-turn encoder offers both absolute value optical and magnetic versions. With a resolution of up to 217, although its accuracy is slightly lower than that of the 23-bit encoder, its higher precision and cost-effectiveness make it very competitive.

In summary, different types of multi-turn encoders have their own characteristics and are suitable for various application scenarios. When selecting an encoder, users should consider specific application requirements and budget constraints to make an informed decision.
